Huggy Lowdown

In 2000, Huggy Lowdown stepped into the comedy scene on the legendary Washington, DC, radio station WPGC. While on the WPGC for eight years, Huggy joined forces with broadcasting icon Donnie Simpson with his hilarious take on everyday life. His vibrant on-air personality paved the way for his successful career as one of the top headliner comedians in the comedy circuit.

Selling out comedy shows across the nation, Huggy was quickly recognized by the cable network TV ONE™ and chosen to supply comedy satire for TV ONE™'s live coverage of the Democratic Convention and Presidential Inauguration. Heard today by over 8 million people in over 115 markets, morning drive listeners wake up to Huggy's news and gossip, and he has an additional segment in the evening with Donnie Simpson on 102.3. Huggy also was on his first sitcom from TV1's Love That Girl Huggy Has Appeared In 30 Episodes.

Hailing from the Nation's Capital, Chris Paul has emerged as one of the most respected writers and comedians in the country. His career in stand-up comedy began in high school. After 20 years, Chris has become even more talented!

Stage Performances

Chris has performed on Comedy Central™ and BET™. In 2006, he co-headlined a two-man show at The Kennedy Center™ in Washington, DC, with Dave Chappelle. He has also performed with some of the biggest names in music, such as The Isley Brothers, War, and Maze featuring Frankie Beverly. Chris Paul is a veteran in broadcast radio, co-hosting the Donnie Simpson Show on WPGC-FM in Washington, DC, for 16 years. Now, Chris is a part of the syndicated Tom Joyner Morning Show™ as the head writer for Huggy Lowdown.

Chris writes and performs popular parody songs for the show like the weekly "NFL Pap-Up's" during football season. Chris Paul is known throughout Washington, DC, for his weekly football parodies for the Washington Redskins™. Chris Paul's Redskin Remixes have close to one million views on YouTube™. Chris's comedic talents and his love for football are the reasons that the Washington Redskins™ sought requested that he create a weekly NFL sketch comedy show for their Redskins Broadcast Network. Redskins Late Night is in its 6th season, and Chris Paul is the host and writer of this top rated show.


On June 5, 2010, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences™ presented Chris with an Emmy Award for his work on Redskin Late Night. He has done endorsements for major companies, such as General Motors™, AT&T™ Wireless, and Apple™. Chris was also the host of ESPN 980 Morning Man cave.
